How to use

Attach the 58 mm adapter ring or directly screw the duplicator onto a lens with a 52 mm filter thread. Insert up to two mounted 35 mm slides into the holder and secure them. Fit the detachable achromatic 10 dioptre macro lens into the duplicator if additional close-up correction is required. Set the camera to manual focus and adjust focal length within the recommended range for your sensor format to achieve full-frame reproduction. Use even, diffused illumination behind the slide and check exposure and white balance before recording the final image.

Usage recommendations

Not suited for use with macro lenses. For larger frames or different reproduction scales, use a longer focal length lens. To reduce reflections and improve color accuracy, use a colour-balanced light source and, where possible, a lightbox or diffused backlight. Clean slide mounts and optical surfaces before use to avoid dust and scratches on digitized images.
