Level switch Karlik 12DWP-33, AC 250 V, 10 A, IP20/IP44, black
Karlik 12DWP-33 is an electrical level switch designed to detect and control liquid levels in simple automation and pump control applications. The device accepts AC input voltage up to 250 V and provides a nominal switching current of 10 A. The switch is supplied in black and is offered in two protection variants: IP20 for indoor, protected environments and IP44 for installations requiring splash protection when combined with a compatible sealant.
The level switch provides straightforward mechanical actuation and reliable on/off switching for commonly used pumps and control circuits. Its 10 A switching capacity supports many residential and commercial pump motors and control relays. The availability of both IP20 and IP44 protection levels allows selection according to installation requirements. The compact black housing simplifies integration into existing switch panels and control boxes.
Install the level switch following local electrical codes and the manufacturer's mounting instructions. Connect the switch into the control circuit of the pump or relay, ensuring the supply voltage does not exceed 250 V and that the load current does not exceed 10 A. Use the IP20 variant where the device is located in a dry and protected enclosure; for installations exposed to splashes, fit the IP44-rated version together with an appropriate sealant to maintain splash protection. Perform functional tests after wiring to confirm correct activation and deactivation at the desired liquid levels.
Choose the protection variant according to the installation environment: IP20 for enclosed, dry panels and IP44 when splash protection is required. When using the IP44 option, procure and apply the recommended sealant for a hermetic assembly. Verify that connected pumps and relays are within the 10 A switching limit and apply additional protective devices (fuses, contactors) for inductive or motor loads as needed.
