Water treatment tablet Katadyn Micropur Forte MF 1000F (100 ml) – disinfectant for drinking water

Katadyn Micropur Forte MF 1000F (100 ml) is a liquid disinfectant formulated to treat and clarify drinking water. The product is designed for emergency, outdoor and travel situations where untreated water sources may contain bacteria or risk microbial regrowth. This compact liquid preparation uses a stable active agent that neutralizes bacteria and inhibits subsequent microbial regrowth, helping to make water safer for personal consumption without altering the water's clarity when used according to instructions.

Advantages

Micropur Forte MF 1000F offers a ready-to-use liquid dosing format that is convenient for individual and small-group use. The formulation acts both as a disinfectant and a growth inhibitor, addressing immediate microbial contamination and preventing later recontamination during storage. The 100 ml volume is portable for travel, camping, and boating, and the liquid form provides precise dosing for typical volumes of untreated water.

How to use

Use the product according to the dosing instructions printed on the bottle to achieve effective disinfection. Measure the recommended amount of liquid based on the volume of water to be treated, pour into clear or pre-filtered water, mix thoroughly and allow the specified contact time before consumption. If water is turbid, pre-filtering through cloth or a portable filter is advised to improve effectiveness and clarity. Follow contact times and dosing precisely to ensure both initial disinfection and prevention of regrowth.

Usage recommendations

Store the bottle upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the cap tightly closed when not in use. Do not exceed recommended doses and avoid contact with skin and eyes; follow first-aid instructions on the label if accidental exposure occurs. For long-term storage of treated water, use clean, covered containers and observe recommended re-treatment intervals if water is stored for extended periods.
