The Katadyn 8020859 BeFree Gravity 6L is a compact, foldable camping water filter designed to provide safe drinking water outdoors. Its EZ-Clean Membrane™ hollow fiber filter removes bacteria, cysts and sediment with a 0.1 micron pore size and delivers a fast flow rate up to 2 L/min. The system includes a refill-level window, quick-release output hose with automatic flow-stop, a carrying strap for hanging and quick-connect fittings for transferring filtered water to bottles or hydration bladders. Capacity is up to 1000 L depending on source water quality.

How to use

Fill the foldable reservoir from a freshwater source and hang the bag by the carrying strap so gravity feeds water through the EZ-Clean Membrane™ into the output hose. Use the quick-release valve to connect the output hose to a clean container, bottle or hydration bladder; the valve stops flow automatically when disconnected. To clean the membrane in the field, shake or swish the filter in clean water to dislodge debris and restore flow.
