Satellite antenna Kathrein KEA 750 — 75 cm, 10.7–12.75 GHz, Gain 37.4 dBi, Aluminium, Graphite
Kathrein KEA 750 is a 75 cm satellite antenna engineered for reception in the 10.7–12.75 GHz frequency range. The reflector dish made of aluminium with a graphite finish provides a compact, corrosion‑resistant structure that supports stable alignment and consistent performance. With a specified gain of 37.4 dBi and an elevation angle range from 0 to 80°, the antenna is suitable for installations that require focused, long‑distance signal reception while remaining lightweight at 4.9 kg.
The aluminium construction ensures a durable yet lightweight assembly that eases mounting and reduces wind load. A graphite finish offers additional protection against weathering and a neutral appearance for residential or professional sites. High gain of 37.4 dBi improves signal strength for weak or distant satellite transponders, and the broad elevation range enables flexible alignment across a wide set of orbital positions.
Select a mounting location with an unobstructed line of sight to the target satellite orbital position and a stable support structure. Assemble the antenna according to the included mechanical instructions, taking care to tighten all fasteners to the recommended torque to maintain dish shape and alignment. Mount the feed or LNB at the specified focal point, connect coaxial cable to the receiver, and perform a fine alignment using signal level or quality meters until optimum reception is achieved. Ensure that the elevation setting is within the 0–80° range and verify polarity and LNB settings in the receiver.
For long‑term performance, periodically inspect mounting hardware for corrosion and retighten as needed. Use weatherproof connectors and UV‑resistant coaxial cable for outdoor runs. When installing in high‑wind areas, select appropriate mounting brackets and consider additional reinforcement to prevent movement that could degrade signal quality.
