The Keychron K8 Max is a wireless custom mechanical keyboard with an 80% tenkeyless (TKL) layout. It supports 2.4 GHz RF, Bluetooth 5.1, and wired USB connections and ships with keycaps for both macOS and Windows. Programmable via open-source QMK firmware and the Keychron Launcher web app, the K8 Max lets you remap keys, create macros and set multiple keymaps for different operating systems. The keyboard is available in a hot-swappable variant that supports Keychron Super mechanical switches for easy switch replacement.

Advantages

The K8 Max combines a 1000 Hz polling rate on 2.4 GHz and wired modes with Bluetooth multi-device pairing for low-latency gaming and convenient multitasking. How to use

Connect the keyboard to your device via USB, pair over Bluetooth 5.1 with up to three devices, or use the 2.4 GHz USB dongle for a 1000 Hz polling-rate connection. Install or open the Keychron Launcher web app or use QMK tools to remap keys, assign macros, and create separate keymaps for macOS and Windows. Swap switches on the hot-swappable version by removing keycaps and pulling out the switch, then inserting a compatible mechanical switch.

Usage recommendations
