Kid-man ALPHAtex Sterile Instrument Table Cover 100cm x 150cm
The Kid-man ALPHAtex sterile instrument table cover, measuring 100cm x 150cm, is a high-quality medical drape designed to maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures. It features a dual-layer construction consisting of an absorbent viscose-polyester non-woven top layer and an impermeable polyethylene (PE) film base. This combination ensures that moisture is effectively managed while providing a robust barrier against the penetration of liquids and microorganisms, adhering to the EN 13795-1 standard for surgical drapes.
This instrument table cover offers superior protection in demanding clinical environments. The absorbent non-woven surface quickly wicks away fluids, preventing pooling, while the underlying PE film acts as a reliable shield against strike-through, keeping the instrument table dry and uncontaminated. Its sterile, single-use nature eliminates the risk of cross-contamination between patients. Additionally, the inclusion of four adhesive labels facilitates efficient documentation and traceability, allowing medical staff to archive critical information such as batch numbers and expiry dates directly into patient records.
This product is not intended for use on patients as a surgical drape or body covering. It is specifically designed for covering instrument tables and surfaces. It should not be used if the sterile packaging is damaged, opened, or if the expiry date has passed.
To use the Kid-man ALPHAtex cover, carefully open the sterile paper-foil packaging using aseptic technique. Unfold the drape and place it over the instrument table with the absorbent non-woven side facing upward. Ensure the cover is laid flat and covers the entire surface area required for the procedure. Once the surgery is complete, dispose of the cover according to your facility's protocols for contaminated medical waste. Use the provided adhesive labels to record the necessary tracking information in the patient's file.
Always inspect the integrity of the sterile packaging before use. If the seal is compromised, the product must be discarded to maintain the safety of the sterile field.
