Kid-man yellowBAND Cohesive Bandage, Non-Sterile, 5 cm x 4.5 m, Green
The Kid-man yellowBAND cohesive bandage is a high-quality, non-sterile self-adherent wrap designed for versatile medical and first-aid use. Measuring 5 cm in width and 4.5 m in length, this bandage is engineered to stick exclusively to itself, ensuring it does not adhere to skin, hair, or clothing. Its breathable and flexible material provides consistent compression and support, making it an essential component for any medical kit or sports bag.
The primary benefit of the Kid-man yellowBAND is its unique cohesive property, which eliminates the need for clips, pins, or adhesive tapes to keep the dressing in place. The material is lightweight and breathable, preventing moisture buildup and ensuring comfort during extended wear. Its flexibility allows it to conform easily to complex body contours, such as joints and limbs, without restricting movement. Furthermore, the vibrant green color ensures high visibility, which is particularly useful in professional medical environments or sports settings for quick identification.
This bandage is non-sterile and should not be applied directly to open, bleeding, or infected wounds without a sterile primary dressing underneath. It is not intended for use as a permanent fixation method for heavy medical devices or as a substitute for professional medical treatment in cases of severe fractures or deep lacerations.
To apply the Kid-man yellowBAND, start by cleaning and drying the area where the bandage will be placed. If covering a wound, apply a sterile gauze pad first. Unroll a small amount of the bandage and wrap it around the limb or joint, overlapping the previous layer by about half its width. Gently smooth the bandage over itself to activate the cohesive properties. Do not wrap too tightly to avoid restricting blood circulation. Once the desired support or coverage is achieved, tear the bandage by hand or use scissors and press the end firmly against the wrap to secure it.
Always monitor the area for signs of restricted circulation, such as numbness, tingling, or skin discoloration. If these symptoms occur, remove the bandage immediately and reapply with less tension.
