The Plug N Play automatic overclocking feature sets the module to its highest published frequency for immediate performance gain. Intel XMP-ready profiles are predefined to optimise performance on compatible Intel systems, while AMD Ryzen compatibility ensures seamless integration with AMD-based SODIMM systems. The low 1.2V operation reduces power consumption and heat. The slim form factor and black PCB provide a compact, unobtrusive upgrade.
Power down your laptop or small-form-factor PC and disconnect it from the power source. Open the memory compartment according to the device manufacturer’s instructions, remove any existing SODIMM if replacing, and align the Kingston FURY Impact DDR4 SODIMM with the slot notch. Insert the module at an angle and press down until the retention clips engage. Reassemble the device, reconnect power and start the system. For XMP profile enablement on compatible Intel systems, enable the desired XMP profile in BIOS if automatic Plug N Play overclocking does not engage.
