Anchor plug Klimas SFXP-08040050 8x40 / 5x50 universal for gypsum and plaster, pack of 100
Klimas SFXP-08040050 universal anchor plug 8x40 / 5x50 is designed for secure mechanical fastening in gypsum boards and plastered substrates. Supplied in a pack of 100, the plug combines a tapered profile and radial expansion features to create reliable anchoring in hollow, soft or layered building materials. The product is intended for indoor mounting of light to medium loads including rails, small brackets, cable trays and similar fixtures where substrate integrity and limited thickness require a dedicated anchor solution.
The universal design accommodates a range of screw diameters and extends reliably in cavities and solid plaster layers to ensure stable fixation. The rawlplug material and geometry reduce the risk of substrate damage during insertion and deliver consistent performance across repeated installations. Packaging in a 100-piece pack supports multiple installations and small projects without frequent reordering.
Drill a pilot hole in the gypsum board or plaster with a drill bit matching the anchor outer diameter, then insert the anchor flush with the surface. Select a screw compatible with the anchor (approximately 5 mm diameter, length to suit fixture thickness, commonly 50 mm for through-fixing). Drive the screw slowly until the anchor expands or folds behind the substrate, producing a secure grip; avoid over-tightening to prevent crushing the base material. For thicker fixtures or layered substrates, ensure the screw length provides sufficient engagement without protruding beyond the anchor.
Use the Klimas SFXP-08040050 anchors for light to medium duty interior mountings only and verify substrate condition before installation. For heavy loads or critical safety fixtures, use an anchor system rated for higher loads or consult technical data for load capacity and substrate suitability. Keep a compatible drill bit and the recommended screw size on hand to achieve proper expansion and reliable fastening.
