Tweezer Knipex 92 84 18
The Knipex 92 84 18 mounting tweezer is made from high-strength spring steel with nickel plating to provide durability and corrosion resistance. It features rectangular flat tips approximately 0.9 mm wide with fine transverse serration on the gripping surfaces for secure handling of small components. The tool is 125 mm long and weighs about 19 g, supplied as one piece per pack.
The nickel-plated spring steel construction offers long service life and reliable resistance to rust. Rectangular tips with fine transverse serration ensure precise, slip-resistant gripping of miniature parts. Its compact 125 mm length and low weight improve handling and control during delicate assembly or repair tasks.
Hold the tweezer between thumb and forefinger near the spring section for best control. Use the flat rectangular tips to pick up and position small components, applying only the pressure necessary to secure the part without deforming it. After use, wipe the tips clean and store the tweezer in a dry place to maintain the nickel plating and prevent corrosion.
For delicate electronic components and precision work, avoid excessive force and do not use the tweezer on live circuits. Regularly inspect the tip alignment and serration; replace the tool if the tips become bent or excessively worn.
