35mm Color Slide Film Kodak Ektachrome 100 135/36 — ISO 100, 36 exposures
Kodak Ektachrome 100 35mm color slide film (36 exposures) is a daylight-balanced reversal film formulated for low-grain, high-resolution color slides. With ISO 100 sensitivity it is intended for shooting in bright outdoor light or controlled studio illumination, producing accurate color rendition and fine detail suitable for projection, scanning and archival preservation.
This film delivers consistent color fidelity and low apparent grain, making it well-suited to subjects that require clean detail and natural tones. Its moderate ISO ensures good sharpness and latitude in highlights under daylight conditions. The reversal process yields positive transparency images ready for direct projection or high-quality scanning without intermediate prints.
Load the 35mm cartridge into any compatible 35mm film camera following the camera manufacturer’s instructions. Meter for ISO 100, or set exposure according to desired depth of field and motion control. For best color and detail, shoot in daylight or under controlled studio lighting; when mixed lighting is unavoidable, use appropriate white balance correction during scanning or projection. Process the film using the manufacturer-recommended E-6 reversal development process to obtain positive transparencies. After processing, handle slides by the edges and store them in archival sleeves or mounts to preserve color and detail.
For optimal results, expose primarily in daylight or with daylight-balanced artificial lights, use a tripod for landscape or low-light situations to maintain sharpness, and choose high-quality scanning equipment or professional projection for accurate color reproduction and archival storage.
