Film Kodak PROFESSIONAL T-MAX 400 ISO 400 36-pic 1 Pack
Film Kodak PROFESSIONAL T-MAX 400 ISO 400 36-pic 1 Pack
Kodak Professional T-Max 400 is a panchromatic black-and-white negative film with ISO 400 sensitivity, designed for demanding shooting conditions. The film provides very high sharpness, extremely fine grain and high resolving power, making it suitable for enlarged prints, low-light situations and fast action. Available in 36-exposure rolls, it is intended for professional and enthusiast photographers who need consistent tonal range and contrast at a fast film speed.
T-Max 400 offers high speed (ISO 400), allowing faster shutter speeds or longer flash reach, combined with very fine grain and exceptional sharpness for a black-and-white negative film. The film delivers high resolving power for detailed enlargements and performs well in dim light or when photographing fast-moving subjects. It is also suitable for scientific and biomedical photography, including cases requiring fluorescence sensitivity.
Load the 35mm 36-exposure roll into a compatible 35mm camera in subdued light or following the camera manufacturer’s instructions. Expose at ISO 400 for general shooting; adjust exposure according to developer-specific recommendations if pushing or pulling film speed. Process the film in standard black-and-white developers according to Kodak’s suggested times or the chosen developer’s datasheet to achieve intended grain, contrast and sharpness characteristics. For best results with flash, calculate effective flash distance using ISO 400 and your flash guide number.
For optimal detail and minimal grain, develop T-Max 400 in T-MAX developer or other fine-grain developers and follow recommended development times. When shooting in mixed or very low light, bracket exposures or use a tripod for static subjects; for action, select faster shutter speeds enabled by the film’s ISO 400 speed.
