Concrete screw Koelner/Rawlplug R-LX M6 7.5x60 mm conical head, zinc plated (R-LX-06X060-CS-ZP)
Koelner/Rawlplug R-LX concrete screw M6 7.5x60 mm with a conical (countersunk) head and zinc electroplated finish is a mechanical fastener designed for direct anchoring into solid concrete and masonry. The countersunk head allows the screw to sit flush with the fixed element or substrate surface, providing a neat finish for installations where surface clearance is important. The zinc plated coating offers basic corrosion protection suitable for interior and covered exterior applications.
The concrete screw provides immediate mechanical load transfer without the need for chemical adhesives or expansion anchors, allowing for quick installation and removal. Its conical head gives a flush appearance after installation, which is useful for mounting rails, brackets and frames where a recessed head is required. The electro-galvanized zinc layer reduces corrosion risk in standard environments and simplifies handling and storage.
This concrete screw is not intended for use in hollow or perforated masonry where a through-threaded mechanical anchor cannot engage solid material. It is not recommended for highly corrosive environments or for permanent outdoor installations exposed to heavy weather without additional protective measures. For heavy structural loads or seismic applications, specify anchors validated for those conditions and follow engineering guidance.
Drill a hole in the concrete or masonry using the recommended drill diameter and the correct drill type (masonry/concrete carbide bit). Clean the hole of dust and debris before insertion. Position the fixture and drive the screw into the hole with an appropriate driver or socket until the head sits flush with the fixture. Do not overtighten; stop when the head is seated and the fixture is secure. For removal, reverse the driving direction and extract the screw.
Use a clean, properly sized carbide masonry drill bit and blow or brush out drilled holes before insertion. For outdoors or corrosive environments select higher-corrosion-grade anchors or additional protective coatings. Follow manufacturer's recommended drill diameter and embedment depth for reliable performance.
