Frame anchor Koelner/Rawlplug FFS nylon with flange 10x60 mm, pack of 4
Koelner/Rawlplug FFS nylon frame anchor with flange, size 10x60 mm, pack of 4 is a molded polyamide sleeve anchor designed for fixing window and door frames, metal profiles and light structural connections into masonry and concrete. The flange provides a wide bearing surface to seat frames flush and to prevent the sleeve from being driven too deep during installation. Supplied as a set of four anchors, this product is intended for medium-duty frame fastening where a reliable mechanical expansion anchor is required.
The FFS nylon frame anchor combines corrosion-resistant polyamide construction with a flange that ensures stable seating and reduces surface damage. Its expansion design creates a secure mechanical hold in solid base materials like concrete and brick. The sleeve's geometry and material deliver consistent grip and reduce the risk of loosening under normal static loads. Supplied in a compact pack of four, the anchors are ready for small installation jobs or for use as spare components during frame assembly.
This nylon frame anchor is intended for use in solid base materials such as concrete, solid brick and dense masonry. It is not recommended for hollow blockwork, lightweight aerated concrete, or severely cracked substrates without additional measures, because expansion anchors may not achieve full mechanical engagement. For heavy structural loads or seismic zones, a specialist high-load anchor system should be chosen instead.
Drill a hole of appropriate diameter and depth in the base material, clean the hole of dust and debris, insert the nylon sleeve so the flange sits flush against the surface, then drive the correct size matching screw or bolt into the sleeve. As the fastener is tightened, the sleeve expands against the hole walls to develop holding power. Follow drill bit and embedment depth recommendations for the 10x60 mm size to ensure correct performance, and use a torque appropriate for the fastener size to avoid over-tightening.
For reliable results, use a clean, correctly sized drilled hole, remove dust with a brush or compressed air, and avoid reusing anchors. When installing multiple anchors for a frame, maintain recommended edge and spacing distances to prevent splitting of the substrate and ensure uniform load distribution.
