Fast Mount Anchor 6 x 60 mm, funnel head, 50 pcs – Koelner/Rawlplug R-SL3-FX-06L060
Fast Mount Anchor 6 x 60 mm with a funnel head is a mechanical expansion anchor designed for quick installation in solid masonry and concrete. Supplied in a pack of 50, the anchor provides a recessed finish where the funnel-shaped head sits below or flush with the material surface. It is intended for light to medium duty fixtures such as brackets, rails and fittings where a reliable mechanical hold in solid substrates is required.
The anchor offers fast, repeatable installation thanks to its expansion design and tapered funnel head, which helps align the fixing and achieves a neat recessed finish. Manufactured to standard tolerances for consistent performance in solid building materials, this anchor allows straightforward installation with common tools and produces a secure mechanical hold without the need for chemical adhesives.
This expansion anchor is designed for solid substrates and is not suitable for hollow or cavity blocks, lightweight aerated concrete, or soft friable masonry where the anchor cannot expand effectively. It is also not intended for heavy structural loads or critical safety applications that require specialized anchors or chemical bonding systems.
Drill a hole in the solid substrate with the recommended drill bit matching the anchor diameter. Clean the hole of dust and debris, insert the anchor until the funnel head sits flush or recessed to the surface, then tighten the fixing screw or bolt to expand the anchor body inside the hole. Ensure the anchor expands fully and the connected fixture is drawn snug against the substrate. Follow standard torque guidance for fasteners to avoid over-tightening and damaging the anchor or substrate.
For reliable results, use a hammer drill for drilling into concrete, blow or vacuum the hole clean, and match the screw or bolt grade and length to the installed anchor. For safety-critical or heavy-load applications consult a structural engineer and select an appropriate anchor type.
