Universal wall plug with screw Koelner/Rawlplug UNO 10 x 36 mm, pack 50
Koelner/Rawlplug UNO 10 x 36 mm universal wall plug with screw is a fastening solution designed for light to medium duty attachments in a variety of base materials. Supplied as a pack of 50, the UNO system integrates plug expansion and screw fixation to make installation of fixtures, shelves and fittings quicker and more reliable in domestic and light-construction environments.
The UNO plastic wall plug features a combined expansion and screw-grip design that provides stable anchorage in concrete, solid brick, hollow brick and plasterboard where specified. Its geometry reduces splitting risk in masonry and improves pull-out resistance compared with simple straight plugs. Supplied with compatible screws, the pack of 50 ensures consistent performance across multiple fixings and reduces the need to match separate screws and plugs on site.
This universal plug is intended for light to medium loads; it is not designed for heavy structural loads, high-shear applications or critical safety fixings such as load-bearing metal supports or large wall-mounted TVs without additional mechanical anchors or chemical resin anchors. For hollow or thin-walled substrates under high load, specialized anchors designed for those substrates should be used.
Drill a hole in the chosen substrate using a 10 mm masonry drill bit to the depth of the plug length. Clean out dust from the hole, insert the UNO plug flush with the surface, position the fixture, and drive the supplied screw until the plug expands and secures the fixing. Avoid over-tightening the screw to prevent deformation of the plug or damage to the base material. For hollow or brittle substrates, check manufacturer guidance for recommended maximum loads and consider using a dedicated hollow-wall anchor if required.
Use a clean, correctly sized masonry drill bit and blow out dust before insertion for optimal holding. For repeatable results in multiple fixings, mark drill depth with tape and test one anchor before completing the entire installation.
