Pole König & Meyer 23770 Microphone Fishing Pole
The König & Meyer 23770 Microphone Fishing Pole is a lightweight, extra-long four-piece glass fibre rod designed to support microphones and route microphone cables internally. With a maximum length of 4600 mm and a load capacity of 0.5 kg, the pole combines portability with practical features such as a padded, anti-slip grip and compact folding into a supplied carrying case. The slim black finish suits studio and live environments and the internal cable routing keeps connections tidy.
The four-piece glass fibre construction provides a high strength-to-weight ratio while keeping the overall weight at approximately 810 g. The extra-long reach (4600 mm) enables flexible microphone placement, and the padded, anti-slip grip improves handling during setup and use. Internal cable routing through the tubing protects the microphone cable and prevents external drag. The pole folds compactly and includes a practical carrying case for transport and storage.
Extend the sections of the pole to the required length and lock them according to the pole’s locking mechanism. Place the microphone at the pole’s end using a suitable shock mount or clip, ensuring the microphone’s weight does not exceed the 0.5 kg load capacity. Route the microphone cable through the pole’s internal tubing to the base, leaving enough slack at both ends for secure connections. Use the padded, anti-slip grip for steady handling when positioning the pole.
Do not exceed the specified load capacity of 0.5 kg. Inspect sections and locking mechanisms before each use and avoid excessive lateral forces when the pole is fully extended. Store the pole folded inside the supplied case to protect the fibres and prolong service life.
