Kontakt-Simon TEZ1W.01/111 WiFi push-button controller for roller shutters, blinds, awnings and curtains
Kontakt-Simon TEZ1W.01/111 WiFi push-button controller is designed to operate motorised roller shutters, blinds, awnings and curtains. The unit combines local push-button control with wireless network connectivity to allow remote operation, scene integration and basic automation in smart home environments. It is suitable for retrofit and new installations where a compact in-wall controller is required to manage shading and sun-protection drives.
The controller offers dual-mode operation: direct manual control via a connected push-button and wireless control over WiFi for remote commands and integration with compatible home automation platforms. Its compact design fits standard wall boxes and supports reversible motor outputs for raise/ lower control of window coverings. Built-in WiFi removes the need for extra wiring for remote control, while local manual control ensures continued operation if the network is unavailable.
This controller is intended for low-voltage in-wall control of reversible motors for window coverings; it is not suitable for direct connection to motors requiring complex communication protocols or integrated safety circuits unless those are supported by the motor/drive. It may not be appropriate where professional automation systems require proprietary wired bus integration or certified industrial controllers.
Install the device in a standard in-wall box and connect the motor leads to the designated up and down outputs according to the installation guide provided by the manufacturer. Connect the local push-button(s) to the controller inputs to enable manual operation. Configure WiFi connectivity using the manufacturer’s setup procedure or companion application to enable remote control and link the controller to other smart-home components. Test local and remote commands after installation to ensure correct motor direction and end-stop behaviour.
For safe and reliable operation, have the device installed by a qualified electrician, verify motor wiring and end stops before regular use, and keep firmware or companion app updated to maintain compatibility and security when using WiFi control.
