Corrugated Protective Conduit Kopos KF 110N blue 110 mm
Kopos KF 110N blue 110 mm is a corrugated protective conduit designed for routing and protecting electrical cables in building, renovation and industrial environments. Its flexible ribbed construction and 110 mm nominal diameter allow grouping of multiple cables and provide mechanical protection against abrasion and impact. The conduit is intended for installation in walls, floors, cable ducts and other cable routing paths where a durable, bendable protective sleeve is required.
The corrugated design provides flexibility for curved runs and quick fitting around obstacles while maintaining structural strength. The blue colour aids visual identification of cable routes and service types. The conduit offers resistance to everyday mechanical stresses and helps organise multiple conductors into a single protected channel. Its smooth interior at connection points facilitates cable pulling and reduces risk of damage to insulation.
This corrugated conduit is intended for protective routing of electrical cables but is not a sealed solution for submerged or continuously waterlogged environments. It is not designed as a final weatherproof exterior trunking without additional sealing and protection. For installations requiring specific fire-rating, chemical resistance or EM shielding, alternative products with certified properties should be considered.
Plan the cable route and confirm required conduit length and bending radius before installation. Cut the conduit to length with a suitable tool to ensure a clean edge. Fit the conduit into walls, floors or duct runs and secure with appropriate clamps or fixings at regular intervals to prevent movement. Use compatible couplers or fittings at joints and transition points to maintain smooth cable paths. Pull cables through the conduit using a draw rope or fish tape, taking care to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension. Where the conduit terminates at enclosures or junction boxes, ensure edges are trimmed and protected to prevent damage to cable insulation.
Use the conduit with compatible fittings and secure fixings; avoid crushing or sharp kinks. For wet or exposed locations, combine with appropriate seals and exterior-rated protection. When pulling multiple cables, use lubricant and correct pulling techniques to reduce strain on conductors and insulation.
