The Koss UR29 Stereophone offers bass-enhanced, high-quality wired sound in a durable, collapsible design suitable for DJs and mobile listeners. Dynamic drivers use 1.4 mil Mylar diaphragms for increased rigidity and reduced mechanical distortion, producing a full frequency response from 18–20,000 Hz. Anisotropic ferrite magnets provide ample volume even with low-voltage portable devices, while oxygen-free copper voice coils improve signal transmission. Closed leatherette circumaural ear cushions create a comfortable seal to improve bass performance and reduce external noise; the closed design also prevents sound leakage.
The UR29 combines robust build quality with foldable, rotating earcups for compact storage and easy transport. Inline cord volume control allows convenient level adjustment when access to the source is limited. The padded adjustable headband provides a flexible fit for different head sizes, and the long straight single-entry cord offers about 8 feet of reach. A gold-flashed 3.5 mm plug and a gold-flashed 6.3 mm adapter are included for broad compatibility.
Unfold the headband and place the earcups over your ears so the leatherette cushions form a comfortable seal. Connect the gold-flashed 3.5 mm plug to your audio source or use the included 6.3 mm adapter for devices with a larger jack. Adjust the padded headband for a secure fit and use the inline volume control on the cord to set the listening level. When finished, rotate the earcups and fold the headset inward for compact storage.
To maintain sound quality and extend service life, avoid exposing the headphones to moisture, store them folded in a dry place, and use moderate listening volumes to protect hearing and prevent driver stress.
