The Kramer Electronics DIP-20 is an AV transmitter and Step-in commander that transmits HDMI or VGA video, unbalanced stereo audio and control data over HDBaseT twisted-pair cable. It supports up to 4K@60Hz (4:2:0) resolution and can deliver signals up to 180 meters when paired with a compatible HDBaseT receiver. The unit accepts HDMI and VGA inputs, an Ethernet signal, serial data and an unbalanced stereo audio input that can be embedded into the output stream. The DIP-20 also functions as a PoE (Power over Ethernet) provider to power compatible PoE receivers.

How to use

Run a single HDBaseT twisted-pair cable from the DIP-20 output to a compatible HDBaseT receiver (for example TP-588D or TP-580RXR). If the receiver is PoE-capable, the DIP-20 can provide power over the same ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a separate power adapter at the receiver end.
