HDMI Extender Kramer Electronics TP-752T
The Kramer Electronics TP-752T is a high-performance HDMI extender transmitter designed to extend 1080p (HD) HDMI signals up to 600 m (2000 ft) over any 2-wire cabling. Housed in a compact aluminum, fan-less MegaTOOLS® enclosure, the unit supports multiple connector types for versatile installations and includes an active reclocking HDMI loop output for cascading or local monitoring. The TP-752T operates from a 5.2 V DC input and is intended for reliable long-distance HDMI transmission in professional and legacy infrastructures.
The TP-752T provides reliable extension of HDMI video up to 600 m (2000 ft) and supports a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080. It offers three convenient connector options—terminal block for common 2-wire runs, RJ-45 (CAT) for standard long-distance cabling, and VGA for use with legacy VGA infrastructure. The transmitter includes an active, reclocking HDMI loop output for cascading or local monitoring and supports bidirectional RS-232 for remote device control. The compact aluminum enclosure is fan-less and can be surface-mounted or arranged side-by-side to occupy 1U rack space with the recommended adapter.
Connect the HDMI source to the TP-752T HDMI input and run the chosen 2-wire or CAT cable from the transmitter to the corresponding receiver at the display end. Use the terminal block for simple 2-wire installations, RJ-45 for CAT cabling, or VGA where legacy infrastructure is required. If cascading extenders or monitoring locally, connect the HDMI loop output to the next device. Use RS-232 connections as needed to enable remote control between source and display. Apply the specified 5.2 V DC power supply and verify signal and control functionality; the device is plug-and-play and requires no additional configuration.
For best results, use quality paired 2-wire cabling or shielded CAT cable appropriate for long-distance runs, ensure secure terminations at terminal blocks or RJ-45 connectors, and use the manufacturer-recommended power supply and rack adapter when mounting multiple units. Verify compatibility with connected displays at 1080p to ensure reliable transmission.
