The KRISBERG 33cm enameled cast iron roaster with a 6.4L capacity is a robust and versatile kitchen tool designed for professional and home cooking. Crafted from high-quality cast iron, this roaster provides exceptional heat retention and uniform heat distribution, ensuring that your food is cooked evenly every time. The elegant cream-colored enamel finish not only adds a sophisticated look to your kitchen but also creates a smooth, non-reactive surface that prevents food from sticking and makes cleanup straightforward.

Advantages

The primary benefit of this cast iron roaster is its ability to maintain consistent temperatures, which is essential for slow-cooking techniques. The durable enamel coating protects the iron from rust and eliminates the need for seasoning, making it more convenient than traditional raw cast iron cookware. Its heavy-duty construction ensures long-lasting performance, while the ergonomic design allows for easy handling even when the pot is full. The roaster is compatible with all heat sources, providing maximum flexibility for various cooking styles.

Suitable for

• Slow cooking stews and hearty soups
• Roasting meats and poultry
• Braising vegetables and tough cuts of meat
• Baking casseroles and artisanal breads

When it may not be suitable

This roaster may not be ideal for individuals who prefer lightweight cookware, as the cast iron material makes it significantly heavy, especially when filled. It is also not suitable for use in a microwave or for storage in the freezer.

How to use

Before the first use, wash the roaster with warm soapy water and dry it thoroughly. Place the roaster on a burner that matches the size of the base to ensure even heating. When cooking, use low to medium heat settings to prevent overheating the enamel. Always use wooden, silicone, or heat-resistant plastic utensils to avoid scratching the interior surface. After cooking, allow the roaster to cool down gradually before washing to prevent thermal shock.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure your stovetop or oven can accommodate the 33cm size
• Consider the weight of the product when lifting
• Verify that your kitchen storage space is sufficient for this large roaster

Usage recommendations

To maintain the longevity of the enamel coating, avoid using metal utensils and abrasive scouring pads. Hand washing is highly recommended to preserve the finish, even if the product is technically dishwasher safe.
