Crafted from bamboo, the board combines natural hardness with a smooth, knife-friendly finish. Its dimensions provide ample space for slicing, chopping and arranging ingredients while the bamboo material helps limit moisture absorption and offers a stable surface for most kitchen tasks.
The bamboo construction delivers a hard, wear-resistant surface that is gentler on knife edges than many harder woods or plastic alternatives. The 65 x 43 cm size accommodates large items such as roasts, whole vegetables and multiple ingredients at once, reducing the need to transfer food between surfaces. The board’s natural anti-microbial properties and low porosity improve hygiene and make cleaning straightforward when combined with regular maintenance.
The KRISBERG bamboo cutting board is not recommended for use as a permanent surface for very wet or marinating tasks where prolonged exposure to liquids could warp or discolor the board. It is also less suitable for dishwashers—bamboo boards should be cleaned by hand to preserve the material and finish.
Place the board on a flat, dry work surface before use. Use for slicing, chopping and arranging ingredients. To protect both knives and the board, avoid cutting with excessive force or using cleavers in a way that could split the fibers. After use, remove food residues, wash with warm soapy water, rinse and dry immediately.
