Masonry drill bit KWB 039630, 3 mm, 1 pc
KWB masonry drill bit 039630 is a 3 mm tungsten carbide–tipped drill intended for drilling in masonry, natural and artificial stone, and limestone. The bit conforms to ISO 5468 and features a smoothly formed half‑round spiral for effective waste removal. The surface is shot‑blasted and the carbide tip is high‑temperature brazed to provide impact resistance suitable for use with rotary and hammer (impact) drills. Supplied as a single piece for light construction, repair and fastening tasks.
The drill bit combines a tungsten carbide tip and high‑temperature brazing for durability and wear resistance. Its half‑round spiral geometry promotes reliable dust and debris evacuation while shot‑blasted surfaces reduce slippage in the chuck. Designed to resist impact forces, the bit works with both standard rotary and impact drills, delivering consistent performance in masonry and stone.
Secure the drill bit in the chuck of a suitable rotary or impact drill. Mark the drilling point and start drilling at low speed to locate the hole, then increase speed and, if available, use the hammer function for harder masonry. Apply steady pressure without forcing the bit; periodically withdraw the bit to clear debris and prevent overheating. Finish the hole at reduced speed for a clean edge.
Use appropriate eye and hand protection and a dust extraction or mask when drilling masonry. Match drill speed and hammer action to the material; for small 3 mm holes avoid excessive force to prolong bit life.
