Sanding pad KWB 492800 5 pcs compatible with various sanders
The KWB 492800 sanding pad set consists of 5 high-quality delta sanding discs designed for precision and efficiency in surface preparation. These 96 mm discs are engineered with a durable aluminium oxide abrasive coating and a strong backing, ensuring consistent performance when working on various materials. The hook-and-loop fabric backing allows for quick and secure attachment to compatible delta and detail sanders, while the punched design facilitates effective dust extraction during operation.
These sanding pads offer exceptional versatility and durability due to their phenolic resin bonding, which keeps the abrasive grains firmly in place even during intensive use. The high-quality aluminium oxide coating provides a uniform sanding pattern, resulting in a smooth finish on both soft and hard surfaces. Because they are designed with a standard hook-and-loop system, they allow for rapid changes between different grit levels, significantly reducing downtime during complex projects. The punched holes ensure that dust is efficiently removed from the work area, which not only improves visibility but also extends the lifespan of the abrasive material by preventing clogging.
These sanding pads are specifically designed for delta or detail sanders with a 96 mm footprint. They are not suitable for use with orbital sanders, belt sanders, or any equipment requiring larger or different-shaped sanding sheets. Additionally, they are not intended for heavy-duty grinding tasks that require specialized industrial-grade abrasive discs.
To use the sanding pads, ensure your delta sander is switched off and disconnected from the power source. Align the holes of the sanding pad with the dust extraction holes on the sander's base plate. Press the pad firmly onto the hook-and-loop surface of the sander to ensure a secure fit. Once attached, turn on the sander and apply light, even pressure to the workpiece. Move the sander in a steady motion across the surface, allowing the abrasive to do the work without forcing the tool.
For the best results, start with a coarser grit to remove material and gradually move to finer grits for a smooth finish. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as a dust mask and safety glasses, when sanding to protect against airborne particles.
