The Labelmate MINI-CAT+ (MC+) series combines the compact footprint of Mini Rewinders with the functionality of Labelmate's heavier-duty CAT rewinders. The MC-10+ and MC-11+ are additions to the Mini-CAT range, offering customers more choices for rewinding label rolls up to 125 mm wide (115 mm for the MC-11+) and up to 220 mm in diameter, with operation at speeds up to 50 cm/sec. Both models use Labelmate’s Constant Adjustable Torque™ (CAT) technology and a specially designed bi-directional motor for reliable, low-cost performance.

Advantages

The MINI-CAT+ units provide adjustable rewind speed and torque via a built-in potentiometer, automatic adjustment to printer speeds up to 50 cm/sec, and automatic label back-feeding when required by the printer. The MC-10+ supports a 76 mm diameter vane-style core holder and coreless rewind on-shaft; the MC-11+ includes an adjustable core holder for cores from 25 mm to 101 mm. Inner label flanges keep the label web aligned during rewinding, and optional accessories are available to guide or support the outer edge of the roll. External control for printer-driven operation is included as standard on the MC+ models.

How to use

Mount the label roll on the appropriate core holder or use coreless rewind on the MC-10+ by placing the roll directly on the shaft. Adjust the MC-11+ core holder to the correct inner diameter if using a core. Connect the unit to the printer or power source and set the rewind speed/torque using the built-in potentiometer. If your printer supports external control signals, enable that function to have the printer start the rewinder only while printing or feeding. The MINI-CAT+ will automatically match printer speed up to 50 cm/sec and permit back-feeding when required.

Usage recommendations

Use the inner label flange to maintain web alignment during rewinding and consider the optional Adjustable Paper Guide (APG-MC) or the MC-10+ outer flange when label edge guidance is critical. Verify printer compatibility for external control signals before relying on printer-driven operation.
