Prep Grip Primer-Serum Gel Hydrating 01 — Lamel (makeup primer-serum)

Lamel Prep Grip Primer-Serum Gel Hydrating 01 is a hybrid primer and serum in a lightweight gel formulation that prepares skin for makeup while delivering hydration. Designed to be applied before foundation, this product aims to smooth skin texture, improve makeup adherence and create an even base for daily use. The hydrating gel consistency absorbs quickly and is intended for normal to dry skin types or whenever extra moisture is needed under makeup.

Advantages

The primer-serum combines moisturizing ingredients and a smoothing gel texture to reduce the appearance of fine lines and irregularities on the skin surface. Its formulation helps foundation and other complexion products glide on more evenly and remain in place longer. Because it is a hybrid product, it simplifies routine by combining hydration and priming in a single step suitable for everyday application.

Suitable for

• Normal to dry skin that needs additional hydration before makeup
• Daily makeup routines where a smooth, even base is required
• Users who prefer a lightweight gel texture that absorbs without heavy residue
• Applying under liquid or cream foundations to improve wear and blending

When it may not be suitable

Because the formula focuses on hydration and a gel texture, it may not be ideal for very oily skin types that require mattifying primers or oil-control benefits. If you need strong pore-filling or long-term oil-absorption properties, a dedicated mattifying or silicone-based primer could be more appropriate. Individuals with specific sensitivities should review ingredient details before use.

Key specifications

• Formulation type: hydrating gel (hybrid primer and serum)
• Primary function: skin priming and hydration to improve makeup adherence
• Skin type suitability: normal to dry skin, suitable for use under foundation
• Texture: lightweight gel that absorbs quickly
• Application timing: applied prior to foundation or other complexion products

How to use

Dispense a small amount of the gel onto fingertips and warm it between hands. Apply evenly to face focusing on areas where makeup tends to settle or where skin needs smoothing and hydration. Allow the product to absorb for a short moment before applying foundation, concealer or other complexion products. Use in the morning as part of your regular skincare and makeup routine; reapply only if additional hydration is required and compatible with subsequent makeup steps.

What to consider before purchase

• Assess your skin type — product is formulated primarily for normal to dry skin.
• Check full ingredient list if you have known sensitivities or allergies to cosmetic ingredients.
• Consider whether you need mattifying or pore-filling properties; this product prioritizes hydration and smoothing.

Usage recommendations

For best results, apply a pea-sized amount to cleansed skin and let it set for 30–60 seconds before foundation. Pair with hydrating foundations or tinted moisturizers for a seamless finish; avoid using on excessively oily areas without blotting or combining with an oil-control product.
