Serial Server Lantronix EDS2100

How to use

Install the EDS2100 near the device to be network-enabled and connect the serial interface (RS-232/422/485) to the target equipment and the Ethernet port to your network. Connect the supplied 100–240 VAC power adapter. Configure the unit using the Windows DeviceInstaller, or access it locally via the serial console, or remotely via Telnet, SSH, HTTP/HTTPS or SNMP. If required, deploy custom applications using the Linux runtime and enable IPv6 in the network settings.

Usage recommendations

The EDS2100 should be placed in a protected environment away from excessive heat or moisture. For secure remote access, enable SSH or HTTPS and apply strong authentication.
