When it may not be suitable

Key specifications

• Euro-style 80x80 design
• Dimensions: 80 x 80 x 42 mm
• Germany type mounting standard
• Surface mount configuration

How to use

To use the Lanview LKS845 Empty Back Box, first select a suitable surface location for your network access point. Secure the back box to the wall using appropriate screws through the designated mounting holes. Route your network cables through the designated entry points into the box. Terminate the cables to your modular jacks or faceplate, and then attach the faceplate securely to the back box according to the manufacturer guidelines of your specific accessories.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your faceplates and modules match the 80x80 euro-style format
• Check if surface mounting is acceptable for your interior setup
• Ensure the 42 mm depth is sufficient for your cable bend radius and connector size

For optimal results, ensure cables are not excessively bent inside the 42 mm depth and securely fasten all mounting screws to prevent movement during daily cable connections.
