Lanview LVR06U63BL Wall Mounted Rack Cabinet 6U Black IP20 with Rack Rails

The Lanview LVR06U63BL wall mounted rack cabinet is a reliable solution designed for organizing and securing network equipment, servers, and computer accessories. This 6U black rack features an IP20 protection rating, includes adjustable rack rails, and supports a maximum weight capacity of 30 kg, making it a dependable choice for managing compact IT infrastructures. Built with practicality in mind, it provides a structured housing environment for essential hardware while optimizing available floor space through efficient wall mounting.

Advantages

This wall mounted rack cabinet offers a space-saving design that keeps valuable networking hardware off the floor and securely mounted on the wall, reducing clutter and the risk of accidental physical damage. The inclusion of dedicated rack rails simplifies the installation and alignment of various devices. Its neutral black finish ensures a professional appearance in office environments, technical rooms, and utility spaces. The IP20 protection rating provides a basic level of defense against dust and accidental touch for indoor installations. Additionally, the flat-packed design facilitates easier transport and handling prior to assembly.

Suitable for

• Installing smaller local area networking and LAN cabling hardware
• Housing surveillance and security monitoring equipment
• Organizing audio-visual components in small office setups
• Mounting network switches, routers, and patch panels

When it may not be suitable

This enclosure is not designed for environments requiring high resistance to moisture, heavy dust, or outdoor exposure due to its IP20 rating. Furthermore, heavier tower servers or large-scale enterprise equipment exceeding the 30 kg maximum weight limit cannot be accommodated within this 6U unit.

How to use

Begin by assembling the flat-packed cabinet components according to the manufacturer guidelines. Securely mount the chassis to a structurally sound wall capable of supporting the combined weight of the cabinet and installed hardware. Install the internal rack rails at the desired depth positions to match your equipment dimensions. Mount your network switches, patch panels, or surveillance hardware into the 6U space using appropriate rack screws and cage nuts. Ensure adequate cable management is maintained to promote proper airflow and organization within the enclosed space.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your equipment dimensions are compatible with the 300 mm depth and 6U height constraints
• Check that the total weight of your installed devices will not exceed the 30 kg limit
• Confirm that the wall surface chosen for installation is strong enough to support the loaded rack
• Assess the environmental conditions to ensure an IP20 rating is sufficient for your installation site

For optimal performance and equipment longevity, install the Lanview LVR06U63BL cabinet in a climate-controlled indoor area with good ventilation, and ensure cables are neatly bundled to prevent strain on device ports.
