Manufactured from durable polyamide material, the product provides dependable mechanical strength and consistent performance in demanding environments. Each pack contains 100 pieces, making it a practical choice for large-scale wiring projects and ongoing maintenance.

Advantages

Constructed from robust polyamide, this cable gland reducer offers excellent resistance to everyday industrial wear and environmental factors. Its precise threading ensures a reliable fit within existing electrical systems, simplifying installation and reducing downtime. The neutral grey color blends seamlessly with standard industrial enclosures and network hardware. Providing a bulk quantity of 100 units per pack, it delivers efficient resource management for professional contractors and installation technicians working on extensive electrical networks.

Suitable for

• Adapting M20 threaded holes to accommodate smaller cable entries in electrical enclosures
• Industrial electrical installations and machinery wiring
• Network equipment setups and telecommunication infrastructure
• Commercial building wiring projects requiring secure cable management

When it may not be suitable

This polyamide reducer is not recommended for high-temperature environments that exceed the thermal limits of standard plastic materials, where metal alternatives would be necessary. Additionally, it is unsuitable for applications requiring EMC shielding, as non-conductive polyamide does not provide electromagnetic interference protection.

Key specifications

• Material: Polyamide
• Color: Grey
• Thread size: M20 x 1.5
• Quantity per pack: 100 pieces

How to use

To use the Lapp SKINDICHT KU-M cable gland reducer, ensure the target threaded hole is clean, undamaged, and matches the M20 specification. Insert the reducer into the threaded opening and tighten it securely using appropriate tools to achieve a stable fit. Once the reducer is firmly in place, you can proceed to install the smaller cable gland into the inner thread of the adapter. Always verify that the connection is properly aligned and secured before routing cables through the assembly.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the existing enclosure threaded hole matches the M20 size and that a reduction to a smaller thread is required for your cable gland
• Assess the environmental conditions of your installation site to ensure polyamide material meets your chemical and thermal requirements
• Confirm the required quantity against your project scope to ensure the 100-pack meets your installation demands

Usage recommendations: Store the cable glands in their original packaging in a dry indoor environment prior to installation to protect the material from prolonged exposure to extreme UV radiation or moisture. Follow standard industrial practices and torque guidelines during installation to avoid over-tightening and thread damage.
