The Lindy USB 2.0 Active Extension Hub extends the cable length for up to four USB Type A devices by 10 m while maintaining USB 2.0 High-Speed data rates up to 480 Mbps. Equipped with one USB A male and four USB A female connectors, the hub enables connection of storage devices, webcams and other Type A peripherals at greater distances from PCs, laptops and tablets. Two hubs can be chained to reach a total extension of 20 m. The hub is compatible with computers that have USB Type A ports and supports plug-and-play installation. A DC socket is provided for an optional external power supply when connected devices require additional power.
