LEMLUX PROF-DIM-PIR is a compact PIR motion sensor module designed for LED strip installations in aluminium profiles. It detects motion and automatically switches or dims LED strips, providing hands-free control for corridor, cabinet, display, and workspace lighting. The unit supports 12V and 24V LED strips and is intended for profile-mounted applications where automatic on/off and short-delay turn-off are needed.

How to use

Install the PROF-DIM-PIR module inside the LED profile according to profile and strip manufacturer guidelines. Connect the LED strip and DC power supply of the corresponding voltage (12 V or 24 V) observing correct polarity. After powering, the sensor will automatically switch the LED strip on when motion is detected within the detection range and switch it off approximately 40 seconds after motion stops. Ensure wiring and mounting follow safety standards and the LED strip's rated current.

Usage recommendations

The sensor is intended for indoor use in dry environments and for LED strips compatible with the specified voltages and currents. For reliable operation, mount the sensor where the expected motion passes within roughly 2 m and avoid direct exposure to heat sources or strong air flows that may affect PIR detection.
