SSD Lenovo 512GB M.2 2242 PCIe G4 x4 (model 5SS1G97513N)
Product description is under construction. Specify the parameters, price and delivery options before buying!
Lenovo SSD 512GB M.2 2242 PCIe G4 x4 is an internal NVMe solid-state drive in the compact M.2 2242 form factor. With 512 gigabytes of usable capacity and a PCIe Gen4 x4 interface, this SSD is designed for thin laptops, compact desktop systems and embedded devices that support M.2 2242 modules. It is intended for operating system installation, application storage and accelerated data transfers where a small physical footprint is required.
This M.2 2242 SSD delivers higher sequential throughput and lower latency compared with SATA-based storage thanks to PCIe Gen4 x4 and the NVMe protocol, improving boot times and application responsiveness. Its compact dimensions allow installation in systems with limited internal space while still offering 512GB of capacity for system files and user data. As a solid-state device with no moving parts, it provides greater shock resistance and quieter operation compared with mechanical drives.
This SSD may not be suitable for systems that only accept longer M.2 modules (for example 2280) or that lack NVMe/PCIe Gen4 x4 support; compatibility should be confirmed against the host board’s supported M.2 lengths and interfaces. It is also not intended as a direct replacement for high-capacity bulk storage needs where multi-terabyte drives would be required.
Install the SSD into an available M.2 2242 slot on a compatible motherboard or laptop following the device manufacturer’s instructions. Secure the module with the appropriate standoff and screw, then initialize and partition the drive in the operating system before use. For best performance, enable NVMe driver support and, where available, PCIe Gen4 mode in the system BIOS or firmware. Transfer data or install the operating system using standard cloning tools or clean installation procedures.
Use this SSD as a primary system drive for faster boot and application load times, and combine it with external or larger internal storage if you require extensive archival space. Keep system firmware and NVMe drivers up to date to maintain compatibility and performance.
