Projection microscope Levenhuk LabZZ M3
The Levenhuk LabZZ M3 Projection Microscope is an educational microscope designed for children and beginners, offering fixed magnifications from 300x to 1200x and an eyepiece projector for sharing images on a wall or sheet. The kit includes a 10x eyepiece, prepared slides, blank slides, cover slips and numerous accessories for sample preparation and experiments. Illumination is located below the stage and can be powered by AA batteries; a built-in mirror can be used when external light is sufficient. The housing is durable and the set includes a carrying case for safe storage.
The microscope provides several fixed magnification settings that are easy to switch by turning the revolving nosepiece, allowing uninterrupted observation. The eyepiece projector lets users project microscopic images onto a wall for group viewing. A comprehensive accessory kit with prepared slides, blank slides, cover slips and tools for sample preparation enables a wide range of experiments. Battery-powered illumination and a built-in mirror make the device versatile for different lighting conditions. A sturdy metal-reinforced housing and included carrying case improve durability and storage safety.
Place the microscope on a stable, level surface and install AA batteries for illumination if needed. Mount a slide on the stage and secure it with stage clips. Start with the lowest magnification, focus using the coarse adjustment, then switch to higher fixed magnifications by rotating the revolving nosepiece and refine focus with the fine adjustment if available. To demonstrate samples to a group, use the eyepiece projector in a dim or darkened room and aim the projected image at a wall or a sheet of paper. When external light is sufficient, use the built-in mirror to reflect light through transparent samples.
Handle glass slides and cover slips with care to avoid chips and cuts. Use only AA alkaline batteries of the same type and polarity; remove batteries if the microscope will be stored for a long time. Clean optical surfaces gently with a soft, lint-free cloth and avoid using liquids directly on lenses. Keep the microscope in the included case when not in use.
