Description

The Lindy 4K30 HDMI and USB over IP system is a modular solution for distributed AV and KVM installations. It consists of separate Encoder (No. 38396), Decoder (No. 38397) and Controller (No. 38395) modules, each sold separately so you can build and scale the installation to your needs. The system connects a single HDMI source, such as a PC or media player, to an Encoder module and a single HDMI display to a Decoder module; multiple Encoders and Decoders can be combined to create multicast, matrix and video wall configurations over a managed network.

Advantages

The system supports both video distribution and USB KVM control, allowing remote control of source PCs from Decoder-side KVM consoles. It provides a JPEG2000 main stream and H.264/H.265 secondary stream, and exposes an API for integration with third-party control applications. Modules can be connected using a 1G managed switch with IGMP snooping and 8K jumbo frame support, and PoE can power units where available, eliminating the need for a separate PSU.
