PC Case be quiet! Silent Base 802 Black Midi Tower
The be quiet! Silent Base 802 Black Midi Tower is a mid-tower PC case engineered for a balance of quiet operation, flexible cooling and practical cable management. It supports Mini-ITX, Micro ATX, ATX and EATX motherboards, accommodates both 2.5" and 3.5" drives, and provides a bottom-mounted power supply layout. The case ships with three preinstalled Pure Wings 2 140 mm fans (two front, one rear) and comes in a black steel and ABS construction with dimensions of 281 mm (W) x 539 mm (D) x 553 mm (H).
The design offers interchangeable top covers and front panels so you can prioritize airflow for high-performance cooling or optimized silence for quieter systems. Thick sound-dampening mats and decoupled components reduce vibration and noise, while the full metal body increases structural stability. Built-in fan control supports up to six fans and a front USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port provides modern I/O connectivity. The PSU shroud and removable motherboard tray simplify assembly and cable routing.
Install the motherboard that matches your supported form factor and mount the power supply in the bottom compartment using the removable PSU bracket. Use the detachable PSU shroud and cover plates to route and conceal cables; remove specific cover plates if you plan to fit additional front fans or a large radiator up to 360/420 mm with the appropriate configuration. Choose the included front panel and top cover according to whether you require greater airflow or lower acoustic output, and connect fans to the integrated 4-step fan controller or to a motherboard PWM header for centralized control. The removable motherboard tray can be taken out for easier component installation or used for open-air testing.
For optimal cooling with minimal noise, use the airflow front panel and the ventilated top cover with the preinstalled 140 mm Pure Wings 2 fans for high-performance builds, or swap to the standard front and noise-reducing top cover for quieter office or productivity systems. When installing radiators, detach the small PSU shroud cover to allow front radiator mounting and verify radiator clearance against installed drive cages. Use the integrated fan controller for simple speed adjustments or connect all fan headers to a single PWM header for synchronized control.
