External aluminum case by LogiLink for installation and operation of one 3.5 inch Serial ATA (SATA) hard drive. The enclosure supports standard 3.5" notebook and desktop drives and connects to a PC or notebook via USB 3.0 SuperSpeed with a maximum transfer rate up to 5 Gbit/s. The device is recognized automatically by modern operating systems and allows hot-swapping of drives.

Advantages

The aluminium housing provides passive heat dissipation and a durable, lightweight shell. USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface ensures fast data transfer up to 5 Gbit/s and backwards compatibility with USB 2.0 ports. The enclosure supports hot-swapping so drives can be inserted or removed without powering down the host system. Compatible with standard 3.5" Serial ATA hard drives and finished in a black colour for a neutral appearance.

How to use

Open the enclosure according to the manufacturer instructions, insert a compatible 3.5" SATA drive and secure it in place.
