Integrated ventilation cutouts accommodate 120 x 120 mm fans to maintain proper airflow and prevent equipment overheating. Additionally, the lockable glass door allows for easy visual monitoring of status lights while protecting sensitive hardware from unauthorized access.

Suitable for

• SoHo network installations and small office IT setups
• Sub- and floor distribution in commercial buildings
• Security and surveillance recording equipment organization
• Audio and video cabling management

When it may not be suitable

This enclosure may not be suitable for large-scale enterprise deployments requiring extensive rack units, as it is limited to a 6U capacity. It is also not designed for heavy industrial environments that demand ruggedized or weatherproof housing.

Key specifications

• 6U rack capacity
• 19-inch standard width
• Maximum static load capacity of 40 kg
• Constructed from 0.8 mm steel sheet
• Glass door with cylindrical lock
• Includes one pair of 19-inch mounting rails

How to use

Mount the cabinet securely to a suitable wall surface using appropriate hardware capable of supporting the combined weight of the cabinet and installed equipment. Open the lockable glass door to access the interior mounting space. Install your 19-inch network devices onto the mounting rails, ensuring the weight is evenly distributed and does not exceed the maximum load capacity. Connect necessary cables and optionally install compatible 120 x 120 mm fans into the designated ventilation cutouts to optimize airflow before locking the door.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that the 6U height is sufficient for your current and near-future equipment needs
• Check that your intended wall structure can support the 10 kg weight of the cabinet plus up to 40 kg of installed hardware
• Ensure the available depth and dimensions accommodate your specific switches, patch panels, or other devices
• Confirm whether active cooling via optional 120 mm fans is required for your specific hardware configuration

Usage recommendations: Regularly inspect the wall mount fixings and the cylinder lock to ensure continued structural integrity and security. Maintain unobstructed clearance around the ventilation cutouts to ensure efficient thermal management for enclosed devices.
