The Longer Nano 6W is a compact desktop diode laser engraver designed for precise vector and raster engraving and light cutting. With a 6 W 450 nm diode and high-speed galvanometer optics, it delivers a small 0.05 × 0.05 mm spot and 3.3K resolution across a standard 100 × 100 mm working area, extendable to 100 × 300 mm with an optional slide. The system supports engraving on wood, leather, paper, acrylic and some plastics, and can cut wood up to 6 mm thick. Portable and lighter than many comparable models, the Nano 6W connects via Wi‑Fi or USB and is compatible with LightBurn, LaserGRBL, LaserBurn and mobile apps for a familiar, cross-platform workflow.

How to use

Set the Longer Nano 6W on a stable surface, connect the power supply and establish a Wi‑Fi or USB connection to your computer or mobile device. Prepare artwork in a supported format (SVG, PNG, G-Code or DXF) using your preferred design software, then import it into LightBurn, LaserGRBL, LaserBurn or the mobile app. Position the material within the 100 × 100 mm working area (or use the slide extension for longer objects) and use the outline/contour preview to verify placement before engraving. Adjust power and speed settings appropriate to the material, fit protective cover and safety glasses, then start the job. For curved objects, use a suitable clamp or rotary fixture to maintain consistent rotation and alignment during engraving.

Usage recommendations

Use low test settings on a scrap piece of the same material to determine optimal power and speed before processing the final item. Always wear provided safety glasses, ensure adequate ventilation or fume extraction when engraving plastics or treated materials, and secure small or cylindrical objects with an appropriate clamp or rotary accessory to maintain even engraving around the circumference.
