Serial & Parallel PCIe Card Longshine LCS-6322M
Serial & Parallel PCIe Card Longshine LCS-6322M
The Longshine LCS-6322M Serial & Parallel PCIe Card provides an expansion option for systems with available PCI Express slots. Based on the MosChip MCS9901 chipset, this adapter adds a standard serial port and a parallel port to a PC via a PCIe 1.0a interface. The card is compatible with a range of operating systems including Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Linux, Mac OS 10.x and DOS, and carries FCC and CE certifications for conformity with regulatory and electromagnetic compatibility requirements.
This PCIe card uses the MosChip MCS9901 chipset to deliver legacy connectivity on modern motherboards with a PCI Express slot. It supports multiple operating systems, enabling use in diverse environments and with legacy devices. FCC and CE certifications indicate tested compliance with safety and interference standards. The compact adapter design is suitable for installation in standard PC cases where a PCIe slot is available.
Power down the PC and open the case following the manufacturer's safety guidelines. Insert the Longshine LCS-6322M into an available PCIe slot on the motherboard and secure it to the chassis. Reassemble the case and power on the system. Install any required drivers for your operating system; the card is compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Linux, Mac OS 10.x and DOS, so use the appropriate driver package or built-in OS drivers where available. After driver installation, connect your serial and parallel devices to the respective external connectors and verify device recognition and functionality in the operating system.
Install drivers that match your operating system version and architecture to ensure reliable operation. Use shielded cables for serial connections in electrically noisy environments to reduce interference. If installing in a low-profile or small form factor case, check clearance and slot type before insertion. For legacy hardware, confirm device settings such as baud rate or parallel mode in both the device and the host OS.
