Construction Marker Refill Lyra LY494202 — Graphite 2B for Lyra-DRY PROFI
Construction Marker Refill Lyra LY494202 — Graphite 2B for Lyra-DRY PROFI
Replacement graphite refill compatible with Lyra-DRY PROFI construction marker systems. The Lyra LY494202 refill offers a 2B hardness graphite core formulated for strong, visible lines on rough and porous surfaces common in construction and workshop environments. It is intended to restore or extend the marking capability of Lyra construction markers, enabling clear notation on concrete, wood, metal and other building materials.
The 2B graphite composition produces a dark, consistent line that remains readable on textured and dusty surfaces. The refill is sized to fit Lyra-DRY PROFI housings, ensuring secure seating and smooth feed during marking. It resists crumbling under typical pressure used in construction tasks and can be easily replaced without special tools, reducing downtime on job sites.
Switch off or retract any existing tip in the Lyra-DRY PROFI marker, open the refill compartment according to the marker’s user guide, and insert the refill until it seats firmly. Advance the refill incrementally to obtain the desired line thickness. Use steady, moderate pressure when marking on hard surfaces to avoid breakage and achieve consistent lines. Replace the refill when line contrast diminishes or the core becomes too short for reliable feed.
Store refills in a dry place at moderate temperature and handle by the non-marking ends to avoid contaminating the graphite. For the longest life, retract the refill when not in use and avoid applying extreme lateral force during marking. When working on very abrasive surfaces, expect faster wear and plan replacements accordingly.
