Remote control MACLEAN CEN-72349 for Maclean electric mounts — compatible with MC-866, MC-880, MC-157
Replacement infrared remote control MACLEAN CEN-72349 is designed for use with compatible Maclean electric TV and monitor mounts, including models MC-866, MC-880 and MC-157. The unit restores wireless control of motorised tilt, pan and power functions where those features are supported by the mount, offering a straightforward replacement for a lost or faulty original remote.
This remote provides direct infrared control for supported Maclean electric mounts, allowing users to operate tilt and pan movements and toggle power functions without manual adjustment at the mount. The compact, lightweight design makes it easy to store or place near the viewing area. The remote is a like-for-like functional replacement that integrates with the existing mount controls and requires no additional accessories to operate.
This infrared remote only works with compatible Maclean electric mount models that accept the same IR commands; it will not control mounts or devices that use different control protocols such as RF, Bluetooth, or serial wired interfaces. It also does not replace a mount’s wired control panel if the mount requires a physical connection for certain features.
Insert the required batteries into the battery compartment following the polarity markings, point the remote toward the mount’s IR receiver and press the relevant function buttons to move the screen or toggle power. For initial use, ensure the mount is powered on and positioned within the remote’s operating range, typically a few metres line-of-sight. If control is not responsive, replace batteries and confirm there are no obstructions between the remote and the mount’s IR sensor.
For reliable operation, maintain a clear line of sight between the remote and the mount’s IR receiver, replace batteries promptly when response slows, and keep the remote away from strong sunlight or heat sources that can interfere with IR signals.
