Toy cash register Madej 011158, touch-sensitive, battery operated

Madej 011158 is a touch-sensitive toy cash register designed for role-play and educational games. Battery operated and built with simple touch controls, this toy simulates retail transactions to help children practise counting, recognise different values of play money, and take turns during cooperative play. The compact design and intuitive interface make it suitable for use at home, in preschool groups, or during supervised play sessions where basic math and social interaction are encouraged.

Advantages

The touch-sensitive controls provide immediate, tactile feedback that mirrors the operation of modern point-of-sale devices without complex functions. Battery operation allows the cash register to be portable and used anywhere without needing a power outlet. The toy promotes numeracy by encouraging counting and simple arithmetic, and supports development of fine motor skills through button pressing and handling of play coins and notes. Its straightforward layout helps children learn the sequence of a purchase, from scanning or entering an item to receiving change.

• Group play to develop social skills and turn-taking
• Parent-child activities that reinforce basic arithmetic

Usage recommendations

For effective learning, combine free play with guided activities: set simple pricing tasks, practice making exact change, and alternate roles of cashier and customer. Regularly check batteries and clean the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners and submersion in water.
