Silicone Ice and Chocolate Mold Maestro MR-1058 — Star Shapes, 16 Cavities
Silicone Ice and Chocolate Mold Maestro MR-1058 — Star Shapes, 16 Cavities
The Maestro Silicone Ice and Chocolate Mold MR-1058 creates 16 star-shaped cavities for making ice cubes, chocolates, candies or molded desserts. Made of flexible, food-grade silicone, the tray is designed for easy demolding and straightforward cleaning. It is suitable for freezer use and confectionery tasks, and can be used in home kitchens, for party preparations, baking decorations and DIY confectionery projects.
The soft silicone material bends to release frozen or set items without cracking or breaking them, reducing waste and preserving shape. The non-stick surface simplifies cleaning and shortens preparation time, while the compact rectangular shape makes it easy to store in most freezers. The tray’s multiple cavities allow simultaneous production of up to 16 small portions, which improves efficiency when preparing treats or decorations.
The Maestro MR-1058 is intended for small, individual portions; it is not suitable for producing large blocks or full-size desserts. Very high-temperature applications such as direct contact with an oven rack or an open flame are not appropriate for this silicone mold. For recipes that require rigid molds to maintain highly detailed or vertical shapes, a rigid metal or plastic mold may perform better.
Place the mold on a flat tray or surface before filling to keep the cavities even. Pour melted chocolate, liquid gelatin, water or other mixtures into each star cavity, avoiding overfilling. For chocolate, allow to set at room temperature briefly before transferring to the refrigerator or freezer to finish setting. For ice cubes, fill with water and place the mold level in the freezer until solid. To unmold, gently flex the silicone from the back of each cavity and push the star out; for delicate decorations chill briefly to firm the item and ease removal.
Allow melted ingredients to cool slightly before pouring to avoid thermal shock; press the mold gently on a flat surface to remove air bubbles for cleaner shapes. Rinse or soak shortly after use to remove residues and prolong the silicone's life.
