Stovetop Espresso Maker Maestro MR-1667-3 — 3-cup Moka Pot
Stovetop Espresso Maker Maestro MR-1667-3 — 3-cup Moka Pot
The Maestro MR-1667-3 stovetop espresso maker is a 3-cup moka pot designed for preparing concentrated coffee on gas, electric and ceramic hobs. Its compact aluminum construction includes a lower water chamber, a coffee basket for ground coffee and an upper collecting chamber with a total volume of 150 ml. The unit is intended for countertop use and delivers espresso-style coffee without the need for electricity, suitable for home kitchens where quick, small-portion brewing is required.
The aluminum body offers even heat transfer and a durable, lightweight design while the granite finish provides a neutral appearance that fits many kitchen styles. The 3-cup capacity is suitable for single or small shared servings, and the simple two-part operation makes the Maestro MR-1667-3 easy to use and easy to clean. A heat-resistant black handle improves handling on hot hobs and the design is compatible with gas, electric and ceramic cooktops.
Fill the lower chamber with cold water up to the safety valve level, place the coffee basket and add ground coffee without tamping too tightly, then assemble the top collecting chamber and screw the parts together securely. Place the moka pot on a preheated hob set to medium-low heat and allow pressure to force the brewed coffee into the upper chamber. Remove from heat when the flow slows and serve the espresso-style coffee immediately. Allow the unit to cool before disassembling for cleaning.
Use a medium-fine grind suitable for moka pots and avoid overfilling or tamping the coffee to prevent excessive pressure. Preheat the hob gradually and monitor brewing to reduce the risk of overheating. Hand-wash components after cooling and dry thoroughly to maintain the aluminum surface and the granite finish.
