Tee internal fitting MAGNAPLAST 110 mm to 50x67 mm PP
The MAGNAPLAST internal tee fitting connects a 110 mm circular drainage main to a 50x67 mm offset branch and is made of polypropylene (PP). It is intended for internal wastewater and sewer installations where a reduction from a standard 110 mm pipe to a smaller rectangular/offset branch is required. The design ensures a compact transition inside walls or inspection chambers and offers resistance to common household wastewater chemicals and corrosion.
The PP construction provides good chemical resistance and long-term dimensional stability in domestic and light-commercial drainage systems. The tee fitting allows a secure, leak-resistant connection between different pipe cross-sections while maintaining minimal flow disruption. Its compact geometry simplifies installation in confined spaces and supports standard solvent or thermal welding methods compatible with polypropylene piping systems.
Prepare connecting pipes by cutting square and deburring the ends. Ensure mating surfaces are clean and dry. Position the tee fitting so the 110 mm inlet aligns with the main drainage line and the 50x67 mm branch aligns with the receiving branch pipe. Join using the recommended solvent welding or thermal fusion process for polypropylene systems, following manufacturer and local plumbing regulations. After joining, allow appropriate curing or cooling time before testing the system for leaks and restoring service.
Use the fitting only in internal drainage applications and select compatible PP piping and joining materials. Verify slope and flow direction when installing to prevent accumulation. Inspect joints after initial commissioning and periodically as part of routine drainage system maintenance.
