Clamp insert for G-Lock 29 mm, Manfrotto D106260 — set of 3

Replacement clamp inserts designed for the Manfrotto G‑Lock system, sized for a 29 mm tube diameter. This set of three inserts restores or improves the clamping surface inside G‑Lock clamps to maintain secure grip on tubing and accessories commonly used in tripods, light stands and rigging systems in photography and video setups. The inserts are shaped to match the original G‑Lock contact profile and provide consistent pressure distribution to reduce slippage and uneven wear over time.

Advantages

These clamp inserts offer precise internal dimensions for reliable contact with 29 mm tubes, ensuring a secure hold without deforming the tube surface. Supplied as a set of three, they allow simultaneous replacement for multi‑clamp rigs or spare parts stocking. The inserts provide predictable friction characteristics that help maintain alignment and stability of mounted equipment while extending the service life of the clamp by taking the wear instead of the clamp body.

Suitable for

• Replacing worn or damaged inserts in Manfrotto G‑Lock clamps that accept 29 mm tubes
• Maintaining stability of tripods, light stands and support rigs in studio and location work
• Stocking spare parts for rental houses, production crews or equipment technicians

Key specifications

• Inner diameter: sized for 29 mm tube diameter
• Quantity: set of three inserts
• Compatibility: designed for Manfrotto G‑Lock clamp systems
• Function: replacement clamping surface to restore grip and reduce wear

How to use

To replace an insert, open the G‑Lock clamp and remove the old or damaged insert from the contact area. Press the replacement insert into the clamp recess, aligning it with the existing contact profile so it seats flush and evenly. Close the clamp and test by tightening on a representative 29 mm tube to confirm even contact and secure hold. Repeat the process for each clamp requiring replacement. No special tools are normally required beyond the tools used to open the clamp if it is secured by screws or fasteners.

Usage recommendations

Inspect inserts periodically for signs of wear, compression or damage and replace as a matched set where possible to preserve uniform clamping performance. Avoid overtightening clamps to minimize deformation of both insert and tube; tighten to the minimum torque required for a secure hold. Store spare inserts in a dry environment away from direct sunlight and strong solvents to preserve material properties.
